There's a specific kind of beauty light that doesn't announce itself. It doesn't flare, it doesn't dramatize, it just settles across a face the way morning does, quietly, generously, like the skin was always meant to look this way. That was the entire ambition behind Ultima II's Clear White Supreme campaign, "A Journey to Ultimate Radiance."
Mikha Tambayong anchored the concept as brand ambassador, and she brought exactly the presence this brief needed. Clear White Supreme isn't a loud brightening line. It's built on a promise of visible, natural transformation, technology working quietly beneath the surface rather than a dramatic before-and-after. Mikha's ease in front of the camera let us chase something honest rather than performed, a kind of radiance that reads as hers, not manufactured for the shot.
We built the key visual lighting around a gradient, white bleeding softly into pale blue, with natural light entering from the side as the dominant source. That side light did most of the emotional work. It carved out gentle highlight and shadow across the contours of her face, giving the skin real dimension without ever tipping into anything harsh. Flowy wardrobe and sheer, layered fabric added movement to the frame, catching that same soft light and letting it drift through the composition rather than sit flat against it.
The brief called for range within a tight visual identity: a hero key visual pairing talent with product, individual beauty shots dedicated to each item in the Clear White Supreme lineup, serum, day lotion, night cream, the overnight capsules, alongside broader full-series shots and non-product beauty frames that let Mikha's expression carry the story on its own. Every frame had to hold the same atmosphere, same light quality, same sense of calm luminosity, whether product was in hand or nowhere in sight.
Because the campaign was built to travel, across digital, in-store placement, out-of-home, and offline events spanning both Indonesian and Thai markets, consistency mattered as much as beauty. A shot that reads as radiant on a billboard has to read the same way on a phone screen. That meant no shortcuts in the lighting setup, no single hero frame doing all the work. Every beauty shot needed to independently carry the brand's promise of visible glow.
What made the day work wasn't a complicated rig or an elaborate set. It was restraint, letting natural light behave naturally, and trusting an ambassador who didn't need much direction to look like radiance was simply where she lived.
