Adi’s journey into photography began during his college years as an advertising major, where his passion for visually compelling communication grew. He discovered that any kind of creative vision could only be fully realized through mastery of execution, turning ideas into impactful imagery. Starting with projects that brought his classmates’ art direction to life, Adi soon began learning under Doddy ‘Obenk’ Ismail - a fine art photographer internationally renowned for his mastery of organic light and colors. Inspired by Obenk’s artistry, Adi refined his craft under Gerard Adi, a professional commercial photographer who shaped Adi’s technical expertise and deepened his understanding of industry standards. Despite his slender frame and unassuming demeanor, Adi has consistently delivered powerful photographic works for global clients and brands. Specializing in action-themed, portrait, and cinematic photography, Adi combines his passion for creating distinctive imagery with a love for long-distance running and practicing Kendo, the Japanese “Way of the Sword”.
